When displaying [ynkad], we should probably instead display [ynkad?] and have ? provide a help message that explains what each option is. (I still don't know what k does.)

An example session:

Shall I revert this change? [ynkad?] ?

y - (yes) revert this change
n - (no) do not revert this change
k - ???
a - (all) revert this change and all remaining changes
d - (done) do not revert this change or any remaining changes
? - print this help message

Shall I revert this change? [ynkad?]

I don't have much opinion about the exact formatting or content of this. For this example I just followed the style of the help messages in Git's add -p interactive prompts, and added the mnemonics in parenthesis.

Also, the patches have been written some time ago but not pulled to the pijul upstream due to some nest issues, see this branch.

There is now an online help (through the '?' key)
