#362 Windows: "pijul add --recursive " ignores the .ignore file

I don't know if I'm just using it wrong or if this is a bug. If I want to recursively add all files in my folder, pijul adds every file, including those from the .ignore file.

pijul record -n takes .ignore into account; it would indeed be need if pijul add --recursive would do it as well.

Thanks for reporting!

I can reproduce this with Pijul 0.11.1 but not with the master branch. pmeunier said he actually fixed this a couple of months ago. (See last comment.) Can you build Pijul from master and test if it has fixed your problem?

hardliner66 commented on March 20, 2019

I can't build because I'm on windows and the build requires pkg-config, which I couldn't get to work correctly.

@iantownsend: cool, did you test this on Windows (I don't think it should make a difference, but who knows)?

iantownsend commented on April 8, 2019

@pmeunier I unfortunately don't have access to a Windows machine.

Ok, we're closing then, as it is probably solved. Feel free to reopen if not. Thanks!
