I get "error: Repository error: IO error: No such file or directory (os error 2)" when doing record on a file in a subdirectory.

(ubuntu 16.10, pijul 0.4.4)

$ pijul add dir/t.txt $ pijul record error: Repository error: IO error: No such file or directory (os error 2)peter@peter-UX305CA:~/Documents/dev/swift$ pijul ls dir dir/t.txt test.txt

There where some error with the formatting regarding the command list, I'll try again:

$ pijul add dir/t.txt

$ pijul record

error: Repository error: IO error: No such file or directory (os error 2)

$ pijul ls

dir dir/t.txt test.txt

Thanks for reporting!

Turns out I pushed a patch related to adds yesterday, see #Aaw4QJlC94hd2aBmg6quiwJ0VQ1xVhHlsJGR0z2Yn7azlr970JUBX9KxcZDfCFPvLYA7aqSIWv3Bh2hp7xMlcoI

What version of Pijul are you using?

Thank you your reply (and sorry for my late reply), I am using version 0.4.4. Adding files at the top directory works for me.

I see this same issue, using pijul 0.4.4 on OS/X (installed through nix)
