#267 number of commits are different after git import

If you clone this repo and run cd poly1305-53bit && pijul git and pijul git poly1305-bit53 you find number of commits will be not equal.

I can reproduce this with this repo, there’s 42 commits in the git history but only 11 after importing it into pijul

Here’s the debug log, which does list all the git commits.
