#318 Bug: when you edit the title of your created discussion, some of the title is missing

Hello.

When you try to edit the title of your discussion, it does not display the original title in full. For example in my previous one it only displayed the first word instead of the entire one.

I had a similar issue with Name <e-mail>, too. In the textarea after clicking edit, it did not show the <e-mail> part, even though it was there. I tried it just now. I went back to edit it, and it again shows Name when it is Name <e-mail>.

Edit: I edited this one too because I made a mistake and I had to re-add the <e-mail> part everywhere. Ugh.

Hi! That sound pretty bad indeed, it never happened to me, but OTOH I don’t think I edit titles very often.

It would be super helpful if you could tell me what that title was, the title seems to have contained something like Name .

I had a similar issue with Name , too

Do you mean when you edited a title that contained Name , or something else? (since you’re saying “similar” here, I’m inferring that it’s in the title, but this website is experimental/buggy enough that I also know it could be almost anywhere else).

Oops, nevermind, I can already replicate in my own comment! This is a bad interaction between the sanitiser and markdown.

Thanks a million!

I’m closing this since it’s a Nest discussion, not a Pijul one.
