@pmeunier I added this to support direnv for the flake, but it strikes me that it may conflict with other uses of direnv. e.g. ~/.envrc would be ignored when in the pijul project tree.

Would it be better to ignore both .direnv and .envrc entirely, i.e. ensure they aren’t recorded so people can do whatever they want in that regard.

On that note, is there a global .ignore? e.g. in git you can add ~/.gitignore or ~/.config/git/ignore.

Yes we have the same thing, it’s called .ignore and it is in the repo (https://nest.pijul.com/pijul/pijul:main/HSEYMLO2DJCDG.AEAAA).
