Installed pijul on nixos unstable

when running: pijul key generate

the following error appears: error: The subcommand ‘generate’ wasn’t recognized

USAGE: pijul identity [OPTIONS] <SUBCOMMAND>

For more information try –help

Pijul was working perfectly around one year ago on nixos unstable. As soon as I got back to it recently I noticed that behavior. Sudo doesn’t help.

Documentation is not up to date. Correct run is pijul identity new.
